About CAS Community
WELCOME TO CAS COMMUNITY
CAS community is designed by CAS users and developers to further the uses of CAS through peer-peer knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices on topics such as; records retention, compliance and archiving. As a community, we rely on your participation to grow. We urge you to publish content as well as take part in on-line discussion forums on CAS related topics.
The site is intended to be a portal for information on the CAS market; technologies, providers, solutions, research, trends, updates from standards committees, best practices, member driven case studies and more.
CAS technologies have created a new dialogue between Business and IT managers. As a result, CAS community brings together a wide range of members spanning the globe including; CIOs, CTOs, infrastructure planners, storage
managers, developers, technologists, business and IT managers, compliance and legal business managers, thought leaders and general CAS enthusiast to foster
dialogue about the technological uses and practical applications of CAS.
Mission Statement:
CAS community is an on-line web community where members can review and
publish content as well as take part in on-line discussion forums on CAS related
topics. The site is a portal for information on the CAS market; technologies,
providers, solutions, research, trends, best practices, etc. for the purpose of
educating the market and creating further awareness of CAS.
Goals of CAS community:
- Public access to users and vendors of CAS technology via interactive
forums
- Public access to CAS related presentation such as; research, white
papers, interviews, best practices, presentations, etc.
- Public access to interactive forums for discussion and information
exchange
- Public venue for publishing specifications/requirements that may be
taken up by technologists at large
